Growing & Sharing
If you don't know what you should know, the team will help you acquire the necessary skills. If you try to keep knowledge close to your chest instead of sharing so you feel important, we will have to let you go as we can't afford those "experts". Politics to bypass another team mate or gain a personal advantages is very bad idea here. If instead you help the other person to grow and raise, we see this as great collaboration skills.
Social & Communication Skills
The nature of our business requires people to be very social and having a high degree of communication skills. When you see a stranger at our events go talk to them. Use social media to fully expose your personality to develop trust quickly. Communicate everything you learn and help others learn quickly too. You need to be open and transparent to succeed in Society3.
Going the extra mile
We prefer people that can do anything and everything. Our CEO has no issues to pickup the paper towels in our toilette if the basket flows over - you shouldn't have an issue either. Our partners may need something on a Sunday, well than we try to make it happen. There will be no task that you won't do because it is not your responsbility - it is your responsibility to make the impossible a reality.
Being a self starter
You found us and are interested in working for us. You need a good imagination to know what needs to be done even if nobody tells you. When you apply, tell us what you would like to do, where you see yourself being helpful and how you can contribute. Let us know what responsibility you would like to take.
Expertise and obsession
If you are an expert in something and have degrees and certificates, that is nvery nice and maybe helpful. If you don't, that shouldn't prevent you to apply to join the team. If you are extremely passionate about the vision we have you must apply regardless. If you are not sure if you are extremely passionate about the idea - please do not apply. We rank obsessive people above any degree.
Sustainability
We try to be very mindful by what we are doing with the resources we have. We understanding 'trying' as a never ending process as we will forever learn new things and new limits. We don't use paper unless absolutely necessary, we don't print brochures or send invoices by post. We do not support startups who are ignorant about sustainability, yet we are happy to help those startups to become more mindful with our resources.
